I've never camped here but spent the day here several times. Canoeing/kayaking here is AWESOME! I always come to the rental place by the bridge and the prices are great and it's a really fun time. Love kayaking up the river and it's also a little challenging which is awesome. Highly recommended. The falls are fun too and there are areas where you can jump off the falls. Such a fun time. Wear water shoes!

The views are different and interesting. Good visit. The cost of parking seemed a bit high. I liked that there was a liability sign telling people not to be dangerous around and near the water but that people still have the option to go on the gentle falls. Lots of people were in and around the water. It had a good feeling to it. The one thing I didn't like was the scummy water foam in one area. That turned me off. Makes me not interested to go in the water, like many others there were doing last weekend.

Washrooms are typical of a provincial park, in that they look like they are cleaned once a season. Avoid unless it's an emergency.

Don't believe the pics you see in tourism brochures. No one is sitting in the waters of the falls. The rocks are covered in algae, so they feel really nasty and are crazy slippery. Plus the water is really cold

BTW, l understand that there is also camping with a number of sites along the river.

Not an awful lot to do here if you're not fishing or kayaking.

Our only issue was with the wasps, so we had to eat our lunch in the car. But I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stop.

Lovely park with a great step waterfall. Later in the year you can come and see the salmon run.

Parking is paid, and they charge a minimum of 2 hours/$5.75. A bit of a rip off considering the average visit is likely much shorter.

This place is really nice. When we went it was just before summer, so it wasn't packed (we were the only ones at the falls....a few kids were in the park). We didn't go in the falls like the picture shows... I wouldn't have known people swim in that area. We will need to go back in the middle of summer. The falls and trail is really nice. The park was nice a d calm when we're were there. Down the street towards Sauble, you will see signs for horse back riding. They offer great pricing and the man I'd very nice. His wife was very rude, but he said she has dementia, and his niece is normally there to help instead...we just went on a day that it rained so they weren't expecting anyone, and his niece left.
